2. She uses the word "Unswerving" or "unswervingly" several times. When she could have used any other word. Don't know why that bothers me. 😂
3. The chapters are short (good) but they're also very choppy. I feel like I get one or two good paragraphs before time jumps.

I have a few complaints that are not spoilers:
1. The author mentions the Adirondack mountains 3 ish times per chapter, as if Im going to forget where the book is set. The amount of times I read the word Adirondack in that book is astonishing.

I haven't found many products that I like for my hair in years. I've used so many. But since moving to New Zealand, I don't have access to a lot of my go-to products anymore. Lately my hair is cute when I don't put any products in it actually 😂

Yes. That is exactly what this book was. Spite finish. I knew the ending about a quarter of the way into it, and also hated all the characters, but needed to finish it anyway. To accurately pinpoint my hatred of the book.

I have made a conscious effort to get back into reading over the last year. I read 62 books in 2024!

To me it felt like the rumble of a big truck going by, but it was enough to wake me fully up so I got out of bed and read for a while.

To be clear, it was a 5.3 earthquake, but it was like 55km from here and 35km deep.

And overall in New Zealand there were 7 earthquakes logged all with magnitudes less than 3 other than that one. (in the north and south islands) and we only felt that one.

By which I mean, i can't handle them saying "bistitchual" 😂

Everyone is making one of these now and I am really contemplating getting on board! 😬 Even though I already have 3 blankets on the go now!
