I really hope the creators there will build up their other platforms. Otherwise. they'll be right back in the same situation in 90 days. I'm deleting my TT account once I've followed the folks I could on YT.

Wow. That definitely sounds like a nightmare. I believe things will continue getting worse on that platform.

Same. I’ve gotten an inordinate number of women inviting me to view their private links. I delete all sketchy followers when I see them, but it seems some of them are invisible somehow.

It’s the ones with one or two pics on their account, zero to a few followers, while the bot account itself is following 7k-ish. Rampant on IG especially. I deleted my account there with 50k followers, many of which were bot or private accounts.

The bots are everywhere. They even respond to ManyChat prompts (that I once used on IG but deleted the app a few days ago). I often wonder if the creators of the platforms put these bots in place to decrease creators’ reach and engagement. Or to get more ad revenue. Or both.

I have found that on every platform, I get enough fake accounts and bot followers without ever having bought any. And yes, they screw up your reach and prevent the algorithm from pushing out your content. I delete them when I see them.
