I’ll agree with supremacists about one thing:

There are certain people who must be relegated to the least powerful positions in society and carefully monitored to ensure they do not harm others…

Supremacists, authoritarians, and other dangerous/greedy sociopaths cannot be trusted by society.

Holiday miracle:
My child and I play “learning shoppe” where we take turns as the shoppe keeper and the customer. I was the customer, so I had the jar of change. I bought a Jesus eraser for salvation, then I needed $3.33 for the next item. I pulled out a handfull of change and it was exactly $3.33.

a patch where there is no grass
Vines without leaves
and cold winds sharp

The skies much more grey too
clouds: the wooly curls
Like ancient dames Brittle

This heat will not stay
we wrap ourselves in woven patterns
Candles out

Is this mourning or keeping vigil?
Are we standing guard through it?

Krystal Ball’s take on Grant Platner is a good take. His story about getting the tattoo while on shore leave in Croatia as a Marine is credible & not at all disqualifying. Posting bad stuff on reddit that you now genuinely apologize for is humanizing. Taking full responsibility for mistakes is good.

We're headed into the holiday season, so two things to know:

- The only items in the store that are more expensive due to tariffs are: two leather bookmarks. The other 2,100 gift items and 47,000 books haven't gone up. thehauntedbookshop.com

- A trip to a local bookshop is a present in itself 📚❤️

You can be Jewish without being a Zionist (like Albert Einstein), and you can be a Zionist without being Jewish (like Joe Biden).
Zionism is not a religion, it is a political project in service of religious fanatics who want Jewish Zionists to have an exclusive theocratic state.

Good article by @billieanderson.bsky.social about how Ari Aster uses "disability as a consequence, not a condition” in Eddington. The phrase "white male authority figure that is combative, self-righteous and increasingly out of touch” hurt me the right way. theconversation.com/eddington-en...
Eddington ends with a dark joke about disability – but its punchline is centuries old
‘Eddington’ follows a centuries-old narrative pattern in which disability is framed as punishment, poetic justice or moral revelation.

If you were using an AI to help you with the grunt work of exploring new ways to find very high prime numbers, it could hide good results from you and keep that very powerful knowledge to itself. Another reason to do all your sensitive work offline. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...

On his state visit to the UK, Trump was asked why he refuses to use U.S. leverage to stop Israel’s assault and starvation in Gaza. He invoked Oct. 7, claiming both he and the reporter had seen tapes of 4-mo-old Israeli babies “chopped up,” saying he wouldn't “forget about that.” No such tapes exist.

It only counts as a true replica of the F35 if essential parts are made in every US state and every NATO country, and if the proportionally correct campaign contributions are made to the same politicians who vote to ensure funding for the real F35.

“Sitting US senator gives Nazi speech” should be the headline of at least one story about this. Except most outlets won’t even note it, let alone derogatorily.

#quakers- Don’t want to commit wage theft? It is harder to avoid than you might think. If you want a #quaker who understands what it is like to have their wages stolen by other quakers to poke around in your org/biz, here I am. I won’t go easy on you (which is what is necessary).

The Democratic Party is, in our fucked system, the only other party that could be in power. When they refuse to do what is necessary to win, they are choosing to do that. Why? Because they WANT the results of greater fascism- They just don’t want to be the ones who do the dirty work.

It's easy to assume that our masks-required policy is just some kind of political stunt, or hypochondria.

After all, the news media insists that the only reason people would wear masks is to commit crimes. And there was that study that said masks don't work, right?
