Sorry but the world has not always envied the US. Sure, we love cola, mcdonalds, cheap Levis, movies and the old cars, but at will employment laws, incarceration rate, institutionalised racism, maternal mortality, education, wealth disparity, no universal health etc, no envy there.

It is not okay to find a black man hanging from a tree with two broken legs and burses on his body, was suicide? This is a good accounting of what is wrong with U.S. especially the hate towards people of difference. Hate crime, making it not safe for people of difference. Inequality is real.

At some point folks have to understand that the problem isn't Dems not using the right tone or whether they're too angry/not angry enough. It's the fact that there's a double standard at play that is almost precisely designed so Dems cannot win no matter how blunt or euphemistic they are in any case
