The European Convention on Human Rights has done so much to improve the lives of ordinary people across the country, including victims of sexual violence, LGBTQ+ service personnel, and families affected by scandals such as Hillsborough and Windrush.

It should be treasured, not threatened.

We use witness to describe living out our faith in the world, which for some Quakers includes nonviolent direct action and civil disobedience.
