The book cover for "Almost Everything There Is To Know" by Hunkin is a retina-searingly bright green with a blue label holding both white and red text in all capitals, presumably intended to cause anyone in the Graphic Design community to go into fits of apoplectic rage; the border of the book (which is a TOME by the way, this this is so thick you can injure your sister with it) is lined with small cartoon cells hinting at the pictorial nature of its content, and the blurb reads "Thousands of odd facts, hundreds of ridiculous experiments, ideal for all ages 8-80" - and I devoured it when it came out in 1988 when I was six. There's also a disclaimer on the back which says reading it for long periods of time can cause eye strain, which is 100% accurate given the tiny and awful handwriting in its images, and probably by now 36 years later I can't see for shit.
