This administration uses the same logic for ICE detainees and Venezuelan boat crews - if the actions aren’t within continental USA then they can ignore the law. They believe (correctly) that no other sovereign nation will intervene and pursue legal sanctions.

Makary is spouting misinformation in an attempt to devalue ACA subsidies. The FDA has only approved Wescovy for children 12 years old or older for management of obesity (weight >95th centile for age). Ozempic is NOT approved for use in children and it no GLP-1 agonist is approved for 6 year olds.

What Jay says is self centred and egotistical. It’s all about how this reflects poorly on his reputation and integrity as an American. This is morally bankrupt. The criminal actions of the Trump administration are premeditated murder and the global reputation of Americans is irrelevant.

The author fails to understand that a legal decision is sitting upon a substantial body of law which operate within established legal principles. Are they just ignorant or duplicitous?

Yes I understand and so am I. The way to disrupt such an approach is to publicly game it. Open source information defeats algorithms and provides substantial user bias. If government favours less human oversight then make it an advantage.

Hillary remembers that the top 5 contributors to her presidential campaign were pro-Israel Jews. Any anti-Israel comment is immediately dismissed by her as ignorance or misinformation. Having integrity requires an honesty of inquiry, not a denial of truth.

So knowing that it’s impossible to determine without research that a stupid statement is real opens up endless possibilities. It’s not a negative. It’s the foundation of successful misinformation.

The reason not to accept the first proposition of the actions being during a “period of war” is that it opens a number of opportunities to avoid consequences and to deflect responsibility to the military. There is no declaration and there is no bilateral military conflict. It is not a war crime.

I presume Hegseth is aware that the log file of the live feed will confirm that he was watching at the time. Like all of his comments, this one will also be proven to be false once the Committee views the logs.
