Big fan of Chicago. If you get a chance, check this out on YouTube. Have watched a couple of times.

Dillon Gee had potential, but was very inconsistent. He pitched in era where the team wasn't that good, just before the arrivals of Syndergaard, Harvey, Matz & company. If I'm not mistaken, I think he owns some pizza franchises. So he's still throwing meatballs around somewhere. (Yeah, I said it.)

Corrected: Absolutely right! Add moon landing. In "The Village" there were the riots at Stonewall Inn which was allegedly owned by the Mafia, That started the movement for LGBTQ rights. That year, I reconnected with an 8th grade friend who became my wife. Living that year was absolutely amazing.

A step in the right direction. That's good news! Hang in there.

Thanks Ed. I'm making progress. (I'm a stubborn old bastard). How are you doing? What comes next for you?

Wife feels the same way. I had her taste it when it was tame - and it was a little too hot for her. Then I went to town. Yum! And if the crazy combination of what I did starts to mitigate the pain, swelling & dysfunction, keep it coming!

Thanks Heidi. We liked that combo very much.

I think I agree. If I were to add two more, Koosman would be one of the two. Then, I'd really have to think about Darling, Matlack & Leiter

Watched his no-hitter and his 300th win - all for other teams! What a shame. I do remember his 300th win was against the Yankees. Steinbrenner showed a bit of class by presenting Seaver with a silver bowl to celebrate the moment.

deGrom was great, but the thing about Seaver, aside from his greatness, is that he changed the franchise! Until him, they were lovable, sloppy, misfits who never finished higher than 9th place (mostly last) & couldn't win more than 73 games a season. 1969 they won 100 - and won it all! #TheFranchise

Good morning Francine. They aren't because my wife does not enjoy hot and spicy the way I do. In truth, even I'm not able to do it the way I could years ago. Yesterday was tough and I needed a glass of milk afterward to tame the burn - but I have leftover chili and will try it again! Enjoy the day!

Good morning Rachel. Enjoy a great day.

The rerun of last off-season continues. Will all available first basemen scatter across the map signing with other teams, leaving Pete/Boras in another staredown with Stearns/Cohen? Will it end in another three year deal with a one-year opt out? Tune in again - same #Mets time, same Mets channel. 🦇

Certainly more exotic than my daily bowl of oatmeal with "stuff". Bon appetit.

Same here, Gil.
