It's neat that I'm still alive.
I'm grateful for all the medical trauma/drama that I endured to still be here.
I'm thankful for all the therapy that made me a better person, and for all the boundaries I built/stood behind so (1/3)

It's actually kind of funny being post therapy after being a chronic over sharer / trauma dumper.

Indian Residential Schools (cultural genocide centers) stayed open until the late 90s in both the USA and Canada which makes this the second time in my life that people who look like me are being sent to concentration camps.

My landlord's maintenance guy is an older gentleman who adores my orange cats because he had one when he was younger so now when he's coming over I make sure the more sociable kitty is in an extra playful mood because dude loves interacting with them 🥺

Ebbie has crossed the rainbow bridge today.
After multiple consultations with her vet over the last few months we came to the conclusion that her quality of life was declining rapidly and it was time.
I loved being her mom for the last 5 years and her absence is already being felt 💔

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.

I think the hardest part of posting my political opinions is figuring out how to say what everyone else is already saying because it clearly didn't work the first time and I can't understand the thought process of someone who doesn't care about other people 🙃
