My AD&D players are really taking command of their game now. After 2 sessions of mostly flailing from encounter to encounter with no prep, now they're recruiting henches, scouting areas, and carefully prepping battlefields before picking fights.

Fascinating to watch them adapt.

While my Stars Without Number game is running, I am switching my local group to AD&D 2e to run a string of classic 1e and 2e adventures (and world hopping to see the settings).

I've got some fun ideas, but I'm curious whether anyone has suggestions!

I think I'm in too many Discord servers. I appreciate that all these communities exist for every creator or video game mod I like, but its hard to keep up with what's new in them when I'm in so many.

Ok #helldivers ... can we talk about Oshaune? I think I need a support group. The dragon roaches are flying bile titans that appear on lower ranked missions. The hive lords are mission enders.

But the mining truck. That is what truly haunts my nightmares.

I keep trying to work on campaign content for both of my games.

And instead I keep finding myself happily making game content indexes instead. I'll never use these. But I like flipping through my books, looking at the art, and writing brief summaries next to page numbers.

What an age in which we live!

Used a machine to cancel an automated service, but the first machine didn't tell that second machine so now I've got to call and speak with a third machine to hopefully pass a message to a human to fix the whole thing.

But the machines have all been very polite.
