I made a hat and scarf set.

The colour is paler in person.
A pale yellow scarf with fringe. Pattern is 2 double crochet, chain 2, single crochet into the chain 2 space of the row below. (US terms). Pale yellow hat crocheted in the round. Main pattern is 2 row repeat with 1 row being 2 double crochet, chain 2, single crochet into the chain 2 space of the row below and the other being single crochet, chain 2, 2 double crochet into the chain 2 space of the row below. (US terms). Bottom of hat is folded for display on Styrofoam head. Top of hat showing the front post double crochet used to add texture. (US terms).

I tried something new, it doesn't lie as flat as I wanted, but I think it turned out pretty good considering I didn't have a pattern.

I made a pretty. The yarn is Wendy Giggles DK - Blueberry Fudge.
Crochet scarf with fringe. Colours are light pink, light blue, light purple, darker pink, bright blue and darker purple, transitioning from one to the other gradually. Pattern (in US terms) is 1 row single crochet, 5 rows of granny clusters, I row single crochet, 4 rows double crochet, repeated and ending on a row of single crochet after the final granny clusters.
