Renaming the Kennedy Center to the Trump–Kennedy Center is absurd. He’s actively undermining the arts, while turning the White House into something dripping in gold and pure tackiness. What’s next—removing accessible parking at the Center? Calling it the Trump–Kennedy Center is truly an oxymoron.
Renaming the Kennedy Center, our national fine arts center, after such a coarse, lowbrow, and ignorant buffoon is America at its very stupidest.

Serious question for Trumpers: what’s the exact date Trump starts owning affordability?
Asking so we can set a calendar reminder.
Maria Bartiromo is incredulous and keeps (weakly) pushing back as Ro Khanna lays out why the affordability crisis is due to Trump's policies and not the fault of Joe Biden
December 16, 2025 at 6:12 PM
Trump says “affordability is a hoax.”
Well then I guess my checkbook is a hoax too. Easy to say when you’ve never changed a flat tire, pushed a grocery cart, or—let’s be honest—changed a diaper. The price of diapers alone could break a trust fund.

So now we’re sitting in the same moral row as Syria, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Iran, China, and Saudi Arabia — countries with documented cases of killing people after they tried to surrender.
Hard to believe we’ve let ourselves slide into that crowd.
Mark Kelly: "They are not silencing me. I'm still speaking out. I still am going to do my job every single day regardless of whether this president wants to kill me, hang me, execute me, or shut me up. I'm not gonna shut up."

We always knew our military was the strongest and grounded in knowing right from wrong. Today, I’m not so sure. If a president ordered action against Americans, I worry some would follow it. ICE already feels like the test run—Americans targeted, lines crossed. Feels like only a matter of time.

Trump vowed to “kill drug traffickers,” and Hegseth delivered—yet after the first strike, two survivors tried to surrender and we killed them anyway. And at the same time, Trump pardons a narco. Hard to look like the “good guys” when this is the picture.
Dem rep: ‘Pretty clear’ Trump administration does not want boat strike video released

Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) said, “It’s no different than any of the dozen-plus videos they’ve already released. They don’t want to release this video because they don’t want people to see it.”

“Interesting to think there could be overlap between the Mar-a-Lago crowd and the Epstein files — not saying there is, just saying that if you drew a Venn diagram of ‘rich, powerful, and mysteriously secretive,’ those circles might start getting real cozy.”
Donald Trump doesn't want to release the Epstein files because he's in the files.

Trump is in the files because he was "best friends" with Epstein for years.

He was "best friends" with Epstein for years because they were abusing women and girls together.

His attacks won't change any of that.

i will repeat: this is psychological torture for SNAP recipients.
NEW: The Trump admin told states it must immediately "undo" the work to provide full food stamp benefits, or face penalties. The feds sent this in a late-night memo, only adding to the chaos and confusion around SNAP. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/09/b...

Can someone name one thing that’s gone down in price lately? Groceries? Gas? Rent? Feels like the only thing dropping these days is my jaw at the checkout line.
Collins: When the president says there's virtually no inflation and that grocery prices are going down, do you agree with him on that?

Greene: No. I go to the grocery store myself. Grocery prices remain high. Energy prices are high.

Funny what a government shutdown reveals:

Just how mean and petty Republicans can be.

That American workers are long overdue for a raise.

And that corporations have been getting our tax dollars to cover their payrolls.

But sure — tell me again about “fiscal responsibility.”
