They are testing to destruction the theory that progressive voters will always vote labour - and I mean to destruction. The theory is broken. Voters will abandon them in their millions.

Also, from a supposedly left of centre party, the politics of abject surrender. For most of my life I’ve believed that Labour - with all its faults and even at its previous worst - is still the best vehicle for progressive change in this country. That’s no longer the case.

Might as well get used to it. Trump will NEVER allow those files to be released. He will do anything before that ever happens. Guilt will have to be deduced from his frantic efforts to cover the whole thing up, rather than anything learned from the files themselves.

So first there was nothing in the files after all. Then it was all a hoax by Barack Obama and James Comey and now, all of a sudden, they’re so serous he has to launch a major investigation - coincidentally just before congress was due to vote on releasing the them. Not at all suspicious.

Which presumably means that the files can’t be released of there is an active investigation.

Yes agreed and it’s shocking the hoops people have to jump through even for entry level jobs. All the same, if it’s compulsory, it’s not volunteering!

Essentially three responses to criticism.
1) Blame it on Biden
2) Dismiss it as a ‘hoax’
3) Attack the person making the criticism

I get hat she quite possibly misled the Grand Jury or gave them partial information but what specifically is she likely to have said or done in that gap that they’re so desperate to hide?
