The strong melodic lines have shifted to game music, with OST soundtracks massive selling and live concerts a strong ticket seller. Strange that the big films with strong themes seem to be nostalgic or sequels using older IP. I understand the current aesthetic, but I love to hum a tune!

I was wondering about this, I have different profiles on insta for performing and composing (especially the wedding stuff)..it seems to pay off as the algorithm really doesn't like you to not fit in their tiny category boxes!

Don was a huge influence on trailers, when he died the style sort of died with him, paving the way for moody clips and high pitched piano sounds. I miss Don.
