Agreed. Still prefer the Kenneth Branagh one from the 90’s. It’s a bit style over substance, visually impressive, and Jacob Elordi was good, but Oscar Isaac’s accent…?

My current faves are anything by Matt Haig or Blake Crouch, but the audible versions depend heavily on who is reading them (The Life Impossible, Matt Haig, is read by Joanna Lumley, story about grief with a sci-fi/eco twist)

Ru is phoning it in, questionable eliminations, overall a mismatched set of queens. This season is way off (particularly after last year). I think it’s time for a Canada style format refresh. UK queen in charge, drop Ru, keep Michelle, replace Graham/Alan (or at least add a new rotating judge)
