I think there is a disconnect between someone liking the idea of having a print (wanting a print) and actually concretely spending money for a print and finding a spot to hang it, etc. So if 100 people think the might like a print, maybe ten (or fewer) will actually buy one.

Germany used to have a "Ministry for Economy and Climate Protection". It sadly was renamed.......

Oh weih, wenn die INSM erwähnt wird muss ich immer zucken. Der damalige Präsident meiner 1. Uni ist da aktiv. Daher habe ich die schon lange auf dem Schirm. Sowohl er als auch die Organisation sind gruselig.

Ja dass sich die gesellschaftliche Anerkennung verändern muss unterschreibe ich gern.

Und deine These ist, dass es diesen Fachkräften egal ist. Das habe ich halt anders erlebt. Unterrichte bspw. regelmäßig internationale Fachkräfte die einen Erneuerbare Energien Master machen um die Ölbranche zu verlassen.
Es gibt aber leider in der Erneuerbaren Energien Branche nicht unendlich Jobs.

Das wird sich aber nicht durch individuelle Jobwahl ändern. Da müssen wirksamere Steuerungsinstrumente (Gesetze) ran. Leider ist das unter der aktuellen Regierung nicht zu erwarten.

Finde es nicht sinnvoll dieses Problem zu individualisieren. Die Wirtschaft muss (durch gesetzliche Steuerung) so verändert werden dass die Zerstörung des Planeten nicht weiter voran schreitet. Die individuelle Jobwahl ist dabei nur ein kleiner Faktor.

Kannst du diese These belegen?

Ich schreibe gelegentlich Stellen aus die dazu beitragen die Klimakatastrophe zu bekämpfen (Solarzellforschung) und bekomme viele Bewerbungen. Habe den Eindruck Menschen sind durchaus motiviert mit ihrer Arbeitskraft positiv was beizutragen.

I was amused by how puzzled he looked when I stated that I had never been to such a gym but used to do powerlifting 😆
Overall the test session was a pleasant experience and he may have actually convinced me to sign up.

I was impressed how he stuck to what I had said in our initial intake chat. My stated fitness goals had nothing to do with weight loss so he at no point mentioned weight or calories. He showed me the gym, explained the classes, and guided me in trying out different machines.

So my quest to shift my relationship with sports and find one I actually enjoy, led me into the local gym today.
It was a much better experience than I had feared.
The trainer did visually fulfill my stereotype of a fitness studio employee, and did a very good job with my test session.
