this unlocked something in my brain. filo folklore & mythology is so so diverse, now i really want to analyze the narratives & see if i can find a way to link it to serial killing.

the most recent news regarding serial killing in this country was about last year i think, in caloocan, but it’s proven to be false. also, it was said to be a ‘stabbing spree’ & wouldn’t that be mass murder instead of serial killing?

in fact, the first serial killer in the philippines dates back to 1800s. he was a priest (shocking! /sarc) in my youth (as early as 9 years old) i watched soco frequently, which was a documentary about crime scenes. it was my first exposure to forensic investigation. i’m gonna go ahead & rewatch.
