I think it's kinda iffy because it smacks of early '90s "girl power" which just consists of "look she does Man Things and is Rough and Had A Lot Of Brothers Growing Up", but also it'd be nice to have some stone cold women who aren't thus depicted as Freaks For Not Being Motherly, which is bad

I'm not entirely sure why everyone's taliking like this guy is going to be a consistent part of the game, or even that NPCs in general are going to be "helper NPCs" at all? There's just no reason to extrapolate all that from "there's a guy who gives guidance in the first hour of the game".

the term was not appropriated, the technologies leading up to LLMs have been called "AI" for well over 30 years beforehand, it's a historical quirk, not a marketing gimmick

Haha, man, they just had no idea the sane way to do things then, huh? My contract has a pretty explicit "if you write code for the game its ours" clause in there and like... yeah, duh, why open yourself to the risk that I decide all of it was mine and you have to take it out? Total madness.

god he looks goofy with those tiny clothes. there's a part here that hits hard enough that my brain mentally fills in his kh2 clothes even though I think the mild goofiness adds to it

when i moved into this apartment I tried the bedroom heater and got this smell really strongly. i left it on and the smoke alarm went off so i haven't used it again

like "blood of the covenant/water of the womb is the original" is exactly the sort of alexandria's genesis-esque stuff that spreads around on tumblr or reddit due to credulous teens liking the idea. one should really examine all of their beliefs about history in this light
