I struggle to see how this isn't just a glorified stand alone DLC for $70."

This is definitely one of the more interesting fakes I've seen on the internet, because there's zero skepticism around it being presented as a legitimate Dwarf Fortress screenshot despite absolutely none of it even resembling the game's actual systems in play, even the basic combat log

youtube has a "use AI for video inspiration" feature, which I assume is designed for all the slop channels that exist only to get the bag, and the contents of my own youtube channel lead to truly, truly wonderful results, even if i try to prompt it as hard as i can. it only knows one thing about me
