It reads to me like Pete said “kill them all” and left the room. When the commanders saw the survivors they interpreted Pete’s order literally and sent the follow up. Plenty of room to blame Pete and the commanders no matter how it went down

TN Dems have been working against an R supermajority for over a decade and Nashville was gerrymandered out of its D house seat a few years ago. So I welcome anything that breaks through the apathy and fatalism

I do have thoughts about casting Glenn Powell as the lead. The whole point of the story is that Richards is an Everyman. Glen Powell is more action hero than Everyman.

There were even several nods to the first movie version with Schwartzenager. I still wonder why they made the choices they did in that version.
