A great moment when a kid hand-draws a tagline you came up with! An exploratory attempt to recapture social algorithms for Dolphin Defenders: Inverting their standard shock+righteousness narrative to a celebration of how great NZ-native Māui Dolphins are, with a samba band-led parade on beaches.

It's 5 years since I arrived back in Aotearoa! Swapping UK lockdown for the NZ one... took this quick time-lapse of London, not knowing when I'd be back... literal & symbolic water under the bridge.
I'll never regret being here with my mum those final two years of her life, but I do miss the UK.

Still one of my most remarkable career moments, covering a @greenpeace.org.nz climate protest in 2023. As activists were arrested, I was the only videographer left on site to capture it - shooting while walking backwards, hoping to keep the moment in frame and in focus, and not trip over anything!
