This reminds me of a project idea I had that I'd love to fulfill at some point - to take The Daily Mail and recreate it cover for cover but replacing all descriptives, such as 'illegal immigrant', 'woman', 'muslim/[any faith]' with 'human' to see how it reads.

Personally think the interesting thing here is 21% actively wanting their income tax to go up. That's a number that I would have expected to be in single figures. Electorate may actually be more grown up than I had feared ...

Well that's what I was thinking. And so if the Parish council end up doing it, it will cost people money. And I bet if it doesn't get sorted, and there are no lights, the flag enthusiasts will blame it on a politically correct council. 🤦

Sorry for taking this story seriously, but it's not obvious from their post on the website whose responsibility it is to remove the flags? Are they expecting the people who put them up to remove them? Genuinely intrigued by this!
