Hugely conflicted on this. Totally support the reasons but I love Eurovision and I see it as a force for good, inclusion, diversity, equality and delightfully bad pop. Such memories, looking at you Red Hurley and of course....My Lovely Horse. (Sigh) War takes. www.rte.ie/entertainmen...
RTÉ to boycott Eurovision Song Contest over Israel
Ireland will not participate in next year's Eurovision Song Contest, and it will not be broadcast by RTÉ, after the European Broadcasting Union confirmed that Israel will be allowed to take part.

I was wondering why so many of the photos of people's thanksgiving dinners had paper plates then I realised that, If I was an American who had prepared that many dishes on the table (one guy had thanksgiving on his own and had four big dishes), I'd be saying balls to the washing up too.

I will probably never do this (upstairs apartment). I did not believe it was a real thing until I searched up on it, it may well actually be delicious rather than super oily but the PPE, The volume of Oil, the equipment...... Happy thanksgiving to those who celebrate it... youtu.be/simInxJ_s1s

I do love a good bit of communist propaganda art. I'm looking for good ones with sheaves of wheat! Here's this cracker, not sure of artist or location of original but this is a propaganda postcard apparently. I beleive they are still doing these (until AI takes over!) #ART #BUGLE

'Hamilton of Bothwellhaugh about to shoot the Regent Murray, at Linlithgow, on 23rd January 1570.' George Cattermole 1868 - V&A Museum Collection. This was the first assassination with a firearm. Murray was regent of the young Scottish king. Hamilton got away. #History #Art
