My 20 years of being out would lead me to belive that a lot of cis people don't care because they see trans ppl of inherently deserving abuse regardless of if or how we transition, ngl. I really need the rest of cis people to understand that that's the position of people pushing anti trans rhetoric
feels critical for cis people to know NOT JUST that during my transition i’ve endured loss of lifelong relationships, social and medical humiliation, immense physical pain from corrective surgeries, and the trauma of fleeing a home, but ALSO that i would do all those things again in a heartbeat.

The amount of commercials I get that are related to small business stuff combined with what I know about the American economy leads me to suspectthat nowadays starting a small business has mostly become a debt trap outside of very specific cases (you already have money and connections)

on monday the regime was going to revoke existing passports. yesterday they were going to allow all already-issued passports to remain valid til expiration. today it’s back to revocation. yet we’re called hysterical or wreckers for criticizing the politicians supporting these policies
Update: The State Department has once again changed the language back to saying transgender people's passports will be valid "until they are invalidated pursuant to federal regulations."

If I had any pics of me pre-transition I don't think I'd do a before and after thing honestly just cause I got enough people being not normal about my appearance back when I was a teenager and I would be afraid to see people do that again now.
