I broke down the original character drawings, rigged and animated them in 3D, rendered and comped them back to 2D planes, and then brought them back into 3D for the pop-up book effect.
I'm still proud of the juggling!

Best thing about animating a one-two is that once i've mirrored it it gives me everything I need for every combination of a multi-hit attack!

In our playtest we found it difficult to track down the last cat;
A corner-stone of Snowlem is accessibility, so alongside sound queues I decided to add off-screen indicators when they meow. Here's a mid-dev grab where the cats were abit too chatty
