Much of the genuinely brilliant and essential therapeutic guidance and tools on offer here are blanketed in benevolent Christian patriarchy, sprinkled with a dash Hebrew Israelite nonsense. A valiant effort, but only of marginal/gateway use to "nones" and non-Christians.

While those two things do correlate, there's some research that points to the plethora of guns in the US as a bigger factor there. When a man (it's almost always a man) wants to take his pain out on society, a mass shooter can do in minutes what used to take a SK weeks or months to do.

One more thing, if I may: dreams are also like a form of emotional and cognitive "digestion" for our awake life; so it's possible that you may have encountered someone recently (a coworker, acquaintance, etc.) who "feels" similarly to that guy. Your subconscious may be telling u to be aware of them.
