Being the most impactful group of the last 40 years helps. Buzz also also has his shit together as a business person. They’re also heavy as fuck tonight

The world ended this week when the four legged love of my life was taken from me at the age of *six*. She was diagnosed with stage four lymphoma on Feb.17. At about 12:45 am on March 12, Ramona stopped snoring and that was it. She was with me and her sister on the couch.

Dear Big Law Fucks,
Stay mad about getting your ass handed to you on summary judgment, and explaining to Your Very Large Client, *how* you lost, and to whom. See attached.

I’m gonna say it because we’re all thinking it: Elon wasn’t bullied enough as a kid.

The other only super group that mattered. Fun facts: the first pressing was cassette only, as was the cover only ever sized for cassettes. CDs and LPs weren’t pressed from the original master. While the cassette never sounded great, it sounds like RZA meant for it to sound.

The purest thrash is a dance between the drummer and rhythm guitarist. Exhibit A. Scotty Ian’s entry for the Lifetime Riff Lord Achiever award

The only super group that mattered. Miss me with Cream. Baker, Bruce, and Clapton were a dedicated power trio. Also, if your spirit doesn’t try to exit your body to chase Roy Orbison’s voice on “Not Alone Any More,” just check yourself into the ER

Neil Young is always a superior answer to these challenges, and “Everybody Knows” is such a good choice that I almost don’t want to play. BUT

20 albums that have stayed with / influenced me. In no particular order, and without explanation:

Sicario ticks off so many cinematic boxes. The movie flows like one artistic statement from beginning to end like Apocalypse Now. The violence is casual and ghastly. Emily Blunt and Benicio del Toro portray incredibly flawed people who make nothing but bad decisions, for unrelated reasons.

Chat Pile. Rather than pick a genre, they picked all of them on their debut record, “Cool World.” It’s all bangers and looks like this:

I’m curious if regional metal scenes are developing elsewhere. And if so, if the “Black Death Thrash” descriptor is typical. These young groups are really fucking good, is the thing. And they’re nice, such that they’ll probably follow back on Instagram

Alien: Romulus gets an A+ for blending the vibe and look of Alien 1979, with the buzzsaw action of Aliens 1986, and bakes it into a … literal heist picture. The young cast is fab, and Cailee Spaeny is on (her/their?) way to being a household name not unlike someone you may remember.
