The COTL art I drew definitely applies, but one kind of scene I adore trying to bring out that admittedly doesn't look as good are scenes set in supremely dim/nonexistent lighting.

Their current host (They're someone who only exists when someone puts their hoodie on) has been one too long and is starting to suffer eldritch glamour failures. Star eyes and plasma orange hair are traits the entity channeling them into existence has. @Punchweasel's COTL Lamb OC Nalion taking a forlorn walk through what was once their village home, before The Old Faith found it and put all but them to the sword. It's raining, red flowers are blooming with black where a person has died. Five Night's at Freddy's, right at the second the lights go out due to a power outage but right before the door hydraulics fail. The night guard is hiding under their desk, only their left eye and arm visibly peering at the sole window and holding their mouth shut respectively. Beamz the Bat, an animatronic themed after 90s arcades, is peering in through the window as one of the sole easily-visible details in this literally dark art.

I've heard that immersion mods can get you sucked into an old game again, but this is a bit literal!

I guess I'm about to get a crash course on my new Hylotl anatomy thanks to a tentacle monster the size of a planetary core... How do you fight a planet exactly?

Punch held on as tightly as they could, gripping the edge of their desk as they felt the tentacles behind them wrapping around their ankles. A second of wild wriggling and kicking dislodged them both, only for a third tentacle to wrap around one, tugging insistently. "Come on! Let GO!" It was supposed to be a quick session: Try a few mods for Starbound, see if they work, then use them the next time a friend asked to play. What Punch didn't expect was for one of the mods to immediately generate a save that was already on the tentacle planet you had to journey to at the climax of the game's main story, nor for it to load that instead of a new game. What Punch *definitely* didn't expect to happen was a giant eye to be in the background, look at the camera, *then reach tentacles through the screen to pull them in.* Punch was too shocked to prevent themselves from being pulled halfway in, looking down to see their pants and boots replaced with an orange hakama and sandals, feeling the membrane of the screen squeezing their body and clothing into a more fitting shape for the game's setting. Namely, that of a male Hylotl judging by the three webbed toes they can feel kicking at the planet's many tentacles. Tentacles that while not exactly winning the tug of war, certainly made Punch fight with everything they had to keep it a stalemate. A state of affairs that lasted two more minutes before they felt a graspy tentacle wrap around a foot and accidentally slide down a slick sole, which was enough to make Punch slip- And now their hands barely caught the monitor. The tentacles paused for a moment. Oh. Oh no. The tentacle planet wastes no time striking, digging into their feet, legs and sides. One hand slips, then a thumb. "No, heh-w-wait! W-WAIT! N-heh-NO NOHOHOHOO NO-" were the last words they uttered before their grip finally slipped off the monitor, swallowing them into the game world with a *very* insistent planet with a new ticklish toy to play with.

Punch, wearing their usual red hoodie, after falling through a TF hoop's red field which transformed them into a Fuchsia-caste Troll from Homestuck/Hiveswap. The transformation also changed their clothes to fit what their fantroll self would wear, sans shoes because wow these things are malfunction prone and just eat clothes sometimes and I need a ref *anyways* so ***anyways***- Their right and left horns are shaped like Heket and Narinder's Yellow and Red Crowns, they have three eyes (all yellow sclera, two eyes on their right, with a four-pointed star pupil on their single left eye), instead of pants and shoes they have a two-layered (black and dark grey) skirt on + bare three-toed feet, and their hoodie is also adorned with their Pimini star sign and a short purple sash. Behind them their heel-length hair is tied back with a copper hair cuff. Also in their mouth is an unlit joint. Their Classpect "Thief of Doom" is already listing nearby dangerous things they can draw Doom power from, namely the slippery puddle they're about to fall on, the long-term dangers of smoking their joint, or cutting themselves with their sharper finger and toe nails. Have fun with reflexive danger sense and good/bad luck theft + redistribution, on top of any Being-a-Troll or Sburb shenanigans.

They're looking up rituals to try on others later and totally not just hanging out in bed for the fun of it. Still wearing Heket more often than they're not.

Eventually you get used to the half-converted state you look like from extensive suit use. Besides, she's comfy to wear!

Punch, head still humanoid but Heket from the neck down and noticeably looking Heket-like face-wise, laying in a bed looking at aged writing on a yellow-covered book. Their legs are kicked up, Heket's crown looking down and even Heket herself is doing that Marvel Symbiote thing of extending a tiny head of her own to converse through. She's smiling.

Punch, with only their jeans' upper legs visible, coated by goo-like shiny rubber in the guise of Leshy, Bishop of Chaos of the Old Faith. The goo is still flowing downward, and judging by the spiral behind them, the extra eyes staring at them, and that their tugging isn't getting their new face's bandage off their eye, their transformation still has a way to go. - Can see* through bandages but they're part of his body now lol. Punch grits their new face's teeth, voice shifting (Red to Green) from Punch's soft voice into Leshy's growly and snarly voice as they pull on their face's new permanent bandages. "Stupid thing, get OFF-... grr- My... FACE..!" Their new eye gives them the following abilities to make acting like you have Leshy's vision more likely: - *No Depth Perception - *World looks wavy through "eye" - *Moving too quick or looking around too quickly is dizzying The same as the other image, but without the onomatopoeia, dialogue and stat changes from the merge/TF into Bishop Leshy.
