This has been a certified "I'm 14 and this is deep" moment.

Seriously, I could write a semi-coherent novel filled only with ramblings about all things art. It's why I love it too much.

And now this dog's rambles are finally over. (6.5/6)

All that to say I've been trying to relax myself with drawing, take a bit of a more lenient approach. Not everything should be super conceptual and highly-skilled, just practice what you want, if you want to practice at all! Otherwise just draw some little things, have fun. (6/6)

I hate using the term "good" as an end point, especially when viewing others' work, but what's "good" to you can just come down to *finally* liking what you've created and are able to create. It's rocky, as are any skills at first, but passion carries you forward, learning carries you up. (5/6)

Despite the initial motivation to practice, there's a LOT more you can do than just *trying* to get better. Cut the focus up into smaller bits, or just draw what you like again, as if you were a kid. There doesn't need to be something special about every piece of art, just make stuff. (4/6)

I'm stubborn, for sure. It's something I've committed loads of time and energy to work on in reality, but my head keeps telling me "you need to do more" whilst my hands refuse to listen. To stop is to throw away my lifestyle, to feel as though I've given up - and doing that on any piece sucks. (3/6)

I'm definitely not quick at it, per say, but the perpetual cycle of living up to my own (and unconsciously other peoples') expectations is tiring at moments, especially when the goal is to "improve as an artist." It's much too broad to think that way; I think I'm seeing that more clearly. (2/6)

I’ve also realized my love for hyenas for these types of things. Super flexible for humor, symbolism, and everything else. Plus, they’re just plain fun :p
