Thank you for following me. ♥️
I will post random stuff on here. Might be games I play, food I bake, or songs I am listening to.
I might also ask you for your advice, check in on how you are doing, and share your posts.

There are many examples of great songs by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. You might think that the drums, the bass, the guitar and rhythmic vocals in this song deliver the usual funk, but let us appreciate the added jazziness through the trumpets, played by Flea.

Not many others in my list, but obviously I got Queen on it. I could post some of the usual favourites, but Radio Ga Ga is in my opinion a bit underrated. It's actually one that has inspired various modern artists; their names, songs, or identity.

I wondered if, aside from Rammstein, there are other German music acts who are popular in English speaking countries. There is a lot of good music from Germany. Peter Fox for example, who had a great first solo album with personal stories and social commentary.

I struggled finding a song to share by this band because, frankly, their tracks aren't the catchiest. As I watch their fascinating videos on repeat however, the songs get stuck in my head. This one's probably the most impressive, though they all are incredible.

Having worked in an Italian restaurant, I was exposed to a lot of music from Italian artists like Pausini, Bocelli, Zucchero, etc. The 2021 Eurovision winners Måneskin made me revisit some of those classics. Nek's one of them.

I always enjoy tracks that are extraordinary in some ways. With Mattafix, it was the mix of rap and singing, with special melodies (i.e. infused with sounds from other cultures) and social topics, that struck me.

You might expect a different band (which I have a separate playlist for) to be mentioned. I will draw attention to Low Roar though, who provided the credit theme to Death Stranding. The combination of the visuals and this track is, in my opinion, magical.

This one comes with some criticism.
If anyone says queer people force their agenda onto kids, just show them the music video to Kaoma's Lambada. Love the song with its Latin rhythms and instrumentals. But kids dancing intimately, girl wearing a short skirt... 🤨

Only recently I learned that an artist, who I really enjoyed listening to about 15 years ago, is the co-founder of Patreon.
Naturally I had to rewatch many of his awesome videos, including his cover of Lady Gaga's Judas. But it all started with a Bloody Nose...

While I enjoy watching musicals, the songs don't always grab me if they follow a particular formula. And while I love "Let it Go", "Into the Unknown" sounds more interesting to me. This performance of Idina and AURORA, and International Elsa's, is magical.

While I enjoy singing to pop songs and rocking out to heavy guitar riffs, music doesn't have to be noisy to me. Hibernation's songs create a very relaxing ambience. I like playing their tracks in the background while working or even gaming.

Some movie soundtracks are incredible. For me, Kill Bill Vol. 1 was one of them.
I heard it all the time in the restaurant I helped out at as a teen, before the movie was out. What struck me was the mix of pan flute, trumpets and violins; like worlds colliding.

Electronic music usually gets my attention when it's well used in movies with good actions sequences. Fluke's "Absurd", for example, was featured in the iconic training scene in the Tomb Raider movie. I loved using tracks like that when I made AMVs or VGMV.
