I've shot everything for my main page on the front camera of an iPhone 12 Mini for the last 2+ years, downgrading from a Canon DSLR - being both behind/in front of the lens has made a big difference vs. hoping I'm centered. Nobody has complained, so image quality is relative to overall quality IMO.

If you're asking about non AB-photography on any format, yes. If you specifically mean film... I feel it's more hassle than it's worth unless you're; A) Shooting fast and loose and looking for that one magic shot B) Have the time, budget and crew to unlock it's artistic benefits in the year 2025.
