First go on the SWR Class 701s today. Initial thoughts are that they should have set the seats slightly further away from the walls. Everything else seemed fine.

Because we don’t get it included in our privs, it was my first time using the Glasgow Subway today in a very long time. The new (to me) trains are super smart. Like something from the future, and smaller than should be possible.

Just departed Darlington on the 1211 Crosscountry (I’m not kidding). #Railway200 #Thirsk. There was a band at Darlington that I didn’t have time to listen to. Ollie would have agreed, I’m sure, I made the right move staying on the train on Platform 1 even though it’s dropped off the timetable.
