I know there are a lot of horrible people out there an it is easy to dismiss them as such. I just want to acknowledge that this fucking sucks that you have random people out there targeting you.

Thanksgiving. Mostly because it focuses on giving thanks, sharing food, and relaxation. Also: because it is secular, all are free to celebrate without the burden of faith-based ritual. It doesn’t require socially obligated gift giving. It isn't centered on consumerism.

I have found that hoping for players to align with my personal (liberal) beliefs is a recipe for massive disappointment. We are giving money to billionaires to pay millionaires to play a beautiful game for us. The game is the thing.
