Hello! I'm a software engineer based out of the U.S. My interests include, open source software, high performance computing, multi-threading, GPGPU, 2D/3D graphics, UI/UX Design, game programming (chess).
Haha, very true! A couple alternatives I thought of would be to use the GitHub API directly and make your own tool to ingest or go the web clipping route and somehow auto-clip all issues to markdown or similar and then process from there. I feel like you would lose data with that method though.

Maybe you could use the `gh` cli tool? It already has support to list issues and then you can print the results as `json` for further processing.

Fo me, this was a key take away from Zig's writeup on their move to codeberg. It will be interesting to see how things develop in this space over time.

Even as an avid hyprland user, I would be interested in a komorebi for Linux, but specifically one that integrates into an existing DE like Gnome or Cosmic. It would be nice to have 1 config for all the platforms I use (Windows, Linux and Mac).

Ahh I see - yeah if your tied to Hugo then I'm not sure if that will ever become a reality.

Making a typst based static site generator sounds like a fun project though. I wonder if someone else has started something since typst exports html now.

What prevents you from doing this? Pandoc works pretty well with both. But I don't know what your blog setup and architecture is like.

I tried this for a while on Gnome with the Cosmic or Pop Shell. It worked ok, but something like `komorebi` would be great to have on Linux. I'm eagerly awaiting what System76 does with Cosmic.

As someone who reviews quite a bit of code, this would be really nice to try out. Looking forward to the journey and alpha builds hopefully in early 2026.

Will that be a separate purchase if we have purchased on Steam?
