Giving social media another spin.

Big ol' nerd, particularly for Transformers, Persona, and Like a Dragon/Yakuza.
One of my all-time favourite films; I was lucky to attend a limited theatrical rerelease of it earlier this year.

I heartily recommend Satoshi Kon's other films ('Millennium Actress', 'Tokyo Godfathers', and 'Paprika'), which should all be readily available on Blu-Ray.

Growing up on rented VHS casettes for Transformers etc, I have some fond nostalgia for those little trailer reels.

Closest we got was the 'Gotham' TV series where Bullock was one of the main characters, and a few other GCPD detectives pop up while the show is mashing together various supervillain origins and 'Gotham Central'-like investigations in a pre-Batman world.

It was a *weird* show.

No, still no movie appearances for Bullock, Montoya, or the other GCPD detectives.

There was Detective Ramirez in 'The Dark Knight' who helped out Gordon and was very much a Montoya stand-in, except she turned out to be taking money from the mob.

One more spotlight for this artbook about the original 'wipEout' game, as well as a copy of the PS1 title itself.

It still bothers me that Studio Liverpool ended up being shut down by Sony; imagine how good a new 'wipEout' game would have been as a showcase for the PS5.

For reference, my only exposure to the Kamen Rider franchise is the anime series 'Fuuto PI', a sequel series to 'Kamen rider W', which I really enjoyed.
two anime characters standing next to each other one is holding a bottle and the other is smoking a cigarette
Alt: Philip and Shotaro strike a "W" pose using their arms, before forming Kamen Rider W. From 'Fuuto PI'.

See, when you’ve grown up relying on LLMs to write your school papers and do your work, you don’t actually develop the skills to function as a working adult.

If you’re pushing AI in schools, you’re failing kids. Sorry. There’s not a lot of grey area here.

Oh yes, the second phase is ludicrous for all of Simon's additional attacks.

Best of luck!

Simon was an absolute pain as a secret boss.

I only managed it by rebuilding Maelle as a solo one-shot kill fighter (after taking a few tips from YouTube), before returning to confront and immediately defeat Simon. A bit anticlimactic, but I wasn't having much fun fighting him in the regular fight.

Nice. Looking forward to checking out the new content over Christmas.

(I already finished the game with the platinum trophy; just gotta retrieve my copy of the game from back home.)

The Hot Rod collection must grow.
