Giving social media another spin.

Big ol' nerd, particularly for Transformers, Persona, and Like a Dragon/Yakuza.
Watching an episode of 'Um, Actually' and was pleased to see a Transformers-focused picture round that included both Rung and Scrounge in the line-up.

The contestants did guess Ripchord as the fake, but only after guessing everyone else first. They were also amused with Rung's alternate mode.

Since I doubt Warner Bros. will ever release 'Justice League' or 'Justice League Unlimited' in the UK, I lucked out and managed to buy the imported US Blu-Ray set on sale.

'Justice League Unlimited' is the DCAU at its finest, and it's a shame that it isn't readily available to people everywhere.

Even the cheapest set, while very cute and all, isn't really geared towards children or families.

I know that it'd be difficult to do accurate characters that are closer to minifigure scale, but there needs to be cheaper playsets and other builds (eg, Pokéballs) aimed at 5+, 8+ audiences, etc.

Before he became Nightwing and wielded the escrima sticks, Dick Grayson first mastered the dual fish technique as Robin.

I also miss Dick Grayson from the latter part of the DCAU, coupled with the implication that by 'Batman Beyond', he never reconciled with Bruce.

One more spotlight for this artbook about the original 'wipEout' game, as well as a copy of the PS1 title itself.

It still bothers me that Studio Liverpool ended up being shut down by Sony; imagine how good a new 'wipEout' game would have been as a showcase for the PS5.

As someone who enjoys both Sonic the Hedgehog and Transformers, I can confirm that I was delighted to receive the crossover set yesterday as a Christmas present.

Assuming it sold well enough, I can see a follow-up set being made for both Knuckles and Shadow.

Reading this brief passage from Olivia Nuzzi, I can only imagine it being written by Garth Marenghi instead.

I was catching up on 'Game Changer' this afternoon and paused my screen to point at TFA Prowl making an appearance there (since no-one else on the show mentioned it).

I did wince and had to look up what the original RRP was for the set back in 2018 (around £150). Too much for my wallet.

Me, looking at what's happening in the news each day:

(And yes, it's always the billionaires acting like bastards.)

Yes, it truly is magnificent.

Probably the definitive official version of the G1 Constructicons/Devastator.
October 30, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Probably the most obscure Transformers character I know to have received an official figure (certainly in these past few years).

Devcon was an original character in the G1 animated series (not based on an existing toy), who only appeared in one episode.

Revving up my Saturday night at the cinema with 'Chainsaw Man: The Reze Arc'.

And the 'Sonic 3' diorama opened up on display.

You'll have to imagine the stage music for Carnival Night Zone, since for legal reasons, it cannot be used in any rereleases of the game.

Got this fun item from my brother, a diorama based on 'Sonic 3', one of my favourite childhood games.*

*And the first half of probably the best Sonic the Hedgehog video game

Did I go a bit overboard buying 15 'Persona' wafers and collectible card packs? Yes.

Do I regret it? No.

And with alt text for the last photo.

And one more set of photos.

A look inside the Wallace & Gromit exhibition.

Assorted 'Wallace & Gromit' clips played on TVs, alongside clips from Nick Park's early stop-motion shorts.

Went into Preston for lunch and to see the Wallace & Gromit exhibition at The Harris.

It was indeed a grand day out.

Now I too can make my own Persona 4-style mega beef bowl for a rainy day. There's also a recipe for an edible version of Mystery Food X as well.

(Now if we can get an official cookbook/cocktail recipe book for the Yakuza games, that would be fantastic.)

Arrived back home from my worktrip on Wednesday night; not pleased that I'm already back to working beyond my 9-5 hours, because there's no rest for me.

Anyway, here are some nice photos from wandering around Amsterdam:

After the trader hall opens on Saturday at TFNation.

Stopped by the shopping centre near the hotel to buy some necessities and lunch earlier today.
September 27, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Yes, this art piece in an Amsterdam shopping mall gets me.
September 26, 2025 at 4:05 PM
Right, off to Amsterdam for a worktrip.

Still a bit groggy, but that's what the second coffee is for.

(I woke up even earlier to watch the latest episode of 'Peacemaker' before I had to leave for the airport.)
