Yeah. For me at least, the puff of air wasnt too bad, aside from the flinch reflex. The dilation on the other hand, I really hated.

Somewhat older, but look for things by Ewart Oakeshott. Was a scholar who did a lot of work on historical weapons, particularly swords, but he has some books on armor too.

Looking at it on a browser like firefox with a blocker like ublock origin or similar will usually eliminate the ads.
