This is Rubbish. Not all medical students can expect to be on the route for consultant track posts - get real. As more have been trained we can’t expect all or most to be ‘entitled’ become consultants. They are not unemployed they can get the staff grade posts - if they are flexible.

Why are they a special case. Whole of rest of NHS staff have had pay erosion. And junior doctors got a massively better deal than all the rest of nhs staff last pay round. Entitled and unrealistic .

@BMA Trouble is they’ve recruited larger numbers of medical students as everyone wanted - but they can’t all become consultants, and why should they? Its pure entitlement and totally unrealistic expectations
