The CDC website now falsely suggests that autism-vaccine research is still an open question, prompting distrust among researchers—some of whom anticipate more unreliable statements.

Please be aware that measles is not the only vaccine-preventable disease that is currently blowing up in the USA due to vaccine misinformation. Whooping cough has kicked the door down also.

This is very neat and, unfortunately, timely!

Meta is dropping fact-checking to avoid anti-conservative bias- but is there actually evidence of bias?
We this test empirically & find that conservatives

I read the first post in this thread about mirror life, thought “they can’t mean…”, and then clicked the link.

Yep, that’s exactly what they mean. Bioengineering reversed-chirality microbes.

Vaughn’s piece is a necessary if frightening read.
I’m proud to join more than 30 colleagues today in sharing our analysis of potential risks from “mirror life”. We summarize our findings in a @science.org article, and in greater detail in a 300pg technical report:

Hi everyone.

The Onion, with the help of the Sandy Hook families, has purchased InfoWars.

We are planning on making it a very funny, very stupid website.

We have retained the services of some Onion and Clickhole Hall of Famers to pull this off.

I can't wait to show you what we have cooked up.
The Onion Buys Alex Jones’s Infowars Out of Bankruptcy
The satirical news site planned to turn Infowars into a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” who peddle conspiracy theories and health supplements.
