I signed up for MasterClass because of David Lynch. The part that stuck with me was when he explained how fear driven businesses are garbage.

When we started CCG, I watched this bit at least once a month and really tried to live it. We did our best to build a company built on trust and happiness.

I can’t help this feeling that there are a higher percentage of stories that are original, bold, and inspiring in novels and films than there are in video games.

Though, recent AAA titles may be skewing my perception negatively.

I’m currently experiencing the post self doubt and regret phase of scrapping a huge game project that I can finally admit wasn’t working. It’s quite freeing. I’m working on a new idea and I think it could be a banger. The little workers in my head are pulling double shifts on this thing.
