I can't comment on their situation because I don't know, but their costs across the board are probably skyrocketing. If artist fees have gone up it's probably because artists' costs have, too (and ours have). Meanwhile we are on the same festival fee we were paid in 2018.

The best description of us I've read, and quite a funny one, is collage rock. I don't think we're prog, unless prog has expanded to include post-rock, electronica, contemporary classical (at times), and I don't listen to what is commonly termed as prog, so the lineage doesn't really work (for me).
