Such a great quote. Especially these days. I saw someone years ago make a collage of that whole quote with their favorite stories, so I made one of mine. Every so often I update it with new things I've found to replace ones that I'm not as into anymore.

We can't make the same mistake we made with the Confederacy. When this nightmare is over, we need to do what Germany did after WWII. Those in power who aided him are imprisoned. The Rep party ends. Anyone who supports him needs to go through repatriation. Civics, economics, history classes.

I mean, that's as crazy as suggesting that the TanTrump "assassination" was a ploy to drum up sympathy and make him a martyr. Just because there was no visible injury, and his ear healed with no scars in less than 2 weeks, and there isn't enough blood in the ear to spray that far or bleed that much.

I do. But when Republicans are promoting themselves as the party of the people, the working class, the Christians; and Democrats are promoting themselves as the "we're not them" party, without DOING anything to show WHY they're better, I can understand people voting Republican, dumb as they may be.
