No, they were hoping that you would decide not to risk nominating another oligarch, and would try to form an alliance with them by nominating a candidate who would actually do something. To be fair, it kind of worked. Harris picking Walz as a VP was remarkably progressive, for the DNC anyway.

Saw Matt wearing this shirt in a clip & had to track down the source. Based on the swoop going through the "u", and the top of the skull under the a, this has a to be a BG3 shirt. Which Matt was wearing less than a week after Larian announced it at E3 on July 11th 2019. #CriticalRole #BaldursGate3
