Christmas cake baked. Now cooled, fed and wrapped up in its tin. I hope it tastes as good as it smelt. Pud next!

We visited my natal county of Hampshire on Tuesday. The rose garden at Mottisfont NT is an absolute delight and almost at peak time I would say. If you love roses and you're in strking distance I strongly recommend a visit. My snaps do not do it justice!

All go this morning. Making a sausage puff pastry plait, whilst keeping an eale eye on my place in the Proms queue. Started off at 4292 and now at 1333 and descending fast! Happy Caturday everyone.
