Monarch Station construction is trucking along. This to me is the most exciting development in the city since I moved here in 2020. 80+ subsidized units, very little parking, access to a plethora of city amenities. Walkable. Calm-ish front-facing road. Big win and we need like 50 more of these ASAP

All proposed developments must go through the review process (read: disctretionary review). Some projects take up to 18 months to complete the review process.

Mixed-use means basically nothing if it’s just a bunch of commercial space and STR.
Build a mixed-use building with first (and maybe even second!) floor commercial and 5-10 stories of residential on top. That’s the mixed-use that we need!!!
