The slur is, at the very least, distracting and annoying. Like "Money for Nothing", I'm aware that it's the character saying it, and it wouldn't faze me reading it in a book, but hearing it at the mall or on daytime radio with my kids would be quite jarring.

Very jealous you got to see Pulp. "Slow Jam" might well be my favourite song of the year so far.

On one hand, I guess it shows you're not overly attached to the past (especially when greatest successes are behind you), with a bit of carnival-barker "You ain't seen NOTHIN' yet!" hype. I always find it a bit sad, though, like praising your youngest child, using their older siblings for contrast.

For real, though, the new múm album is enjoyable, imo.
