It’s my understanding the podcast business has become very challenging as well. Given the amount of work, creators eventually need to monetize and that’s much harder than it used to be. I’m no expert- just a podcast nerd but there’s lots of good info available including from successful podcasters

I can to say this too. Study others who’ve tried before with varying levels of success. Air America comes to mind. Also Crooked Media currently (not traditional radio). Even lessons learned from MSNBC could be helpful.

Exactly. This is just telling us what we already know: gop favors cuts. The thing that has always kept them within the boundaries of decency (arguably) was that they typically can’t name which services to cut. The linkage between taxes and *services* is often lost in public discourse about govt $$

The concept of taxation has become so villified, there are numerous examples of people preferring to pay more to a private corporation than paying thru taxes: healthcare, trash collection in some places, public schools. Some of the issue is ppl not wanting to help those they consider undeserving
