“The court also lays out a variety of compliance measures and fact-finding measures for us to know what is going on and that the government is respectful. If someone has violated people's rights, we need to know who.”

“The government cannot use force against people that are being nonviolent. [But] that force has come in the form of tear gassing, and shooting rubber bullets and pepper spray. We've seen peaceful people subjected to these things,” Johnson adds.

Johnson continues, "People have a right to be in public places and to express their views peacefully."
