Reposting this to mention the best thing I’ve started doing regularly: make stock, freeze it, use it all the time to add flavor without fat or salt. Save up scraps, boil ’em for a 2-3 hours. Strain out solids and boil some more to concentrate, freeze in ice cube trays.

I was just wondering if anyone else would recognize it, and thinking probably not. It’s a “Walsh driver,” the single omnidirectional transducer of an Ohm F loudspeaker, one of the finest ever made notwithstanding they were big, floor-standing speakers that only worked in small rooms.
