La decelerated stabilised se usa normalmente para ahorrar combustible ya que se termina de configurar la aeronave una vez en senda y descendiendo con el glideslope para ahorrar cuanto más combustible

La early stabilized se trata de configurar el avión para su aterrizaje final antes de llegar a senda y comenzar el descenso con la misma. Se suele utilizar en casos especiales como un overweight landing, aeropuertos difíciles o con clima adverso.

The PTU activates automatically when there’s a 500 psi differential between Green and Yellow systems. Hydraulic reservoirs are pressurized by bleed air to prevent cavitation. Overheat protection and monitoring systems ensure reliability and prevent damage during operation.

Leak isolation is achieved through valves to preserve remaining fluid in case of damage. A PTU (Power Transfer Unit) allows pressure transfer between Green and Yellow systems without fluid mixing, ensuring redundancy. The Blue system operates autonomously for additional backup.

Each system has its own reservoir, pumps, and lines to avoid cross-contamination. Priority valves ensure critical functions maintain pressure during failures. The RAT supplies Blue system pressure if both engines fail, ensuring flight controls and essential operations remain functional.
